Fire Instructor II

A Fire Instructor II is a fire service instructor who, in addition to meeting Instructor I qualifications has demonstrated the knowledge and ability to:

  • Develop individual lesson plans for a specific topic including learning objectives, instructional aids, and evaluation instruments
  • Schedule training sessions based on overall training plan of authority having jurisdiction
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of other instructors

This is a 48 course that will provide you with the Intermediate knowledge with increase responsibilities of being an Fire Service instructor.  Your foundation was established in Fire Instructor I now it is time to take it to the next level.  As a Fire Instructor II you will learn and play a key role in the preparation of the courses along withe stepping outside of teaching and learning more of the administrative role in the training program.
